I don’t know what it is about this (practically a squeaky dog toy) giraffe, but Lane and babies everywhere according to the reviews just love it! It’s easy for him to grasp and hold on to, makes a squeaky noise as mentioned and has smaller soft textured parts that he can fit into his mouth to chew on for sore gum relief. Made of 100% natural rubber and food-grade paints.
Mommy’s Helper Inflatable Bath Tub
When Lane outgrew the sink and we moved to the bath, it was quite a large jump that we weren’t fully ready for. I felt like we wasted so much water during baths and it was hard to keep him from slipping around all over the place. Then I found this blow up bath tub insert! Genius! Saves water and keeps him contained in one area since he isn’t quite stable enough yet sitting up on his own in a slippery environment. Also made of 100% phthalate free materials.
Skip Hop Nightime Soother Lamb
Lane loves this adorable little lamb! We put it in the corner of his crib and turn it on to signal nap or bed time. We’ve read about the importance of sleep associations and routines so every time we start the routine we turn on the melody and stars. It has a 20 minute timer too which is pretty convenient since our nap routine usually lasts around 10 minutes and then he gets 10 more minutes once he’s in the crib. He loves looking at the different color stars that project on the wall and the side of his crib and focusing on them helps him gently drift to sleep.

Nursing Breastfeeding Cover – Multi-Use Infinity Shawl
This multi-use cover has definitely come in hand and we love that it can be used so many different ways. The one thing I would recommend is to get a solid color and not a high contrast print like black and white stripes which is what we have. I feel like this print stimulates baby too much and I’m usually putting this over his carseat or while breastfeeding when I want him to start winding down and block out distractions. I just saw that the brand Milk Snob came out with some multi-use organic covers similar to this one and will be ordering one soon.
Ergobaby 360 Cool Mesh Ergonomic Baby Carrier
We have used this carrier around the house, at the grocery store, on hikes, at the airport… and I know this is only scratching the surface of how much we will use this carrier in his first year. The carrier is easy on my back, neck and shoulders, is easily adjustable and fits comfortably. I will say that this version is a bit stiff and takes some time to “break in”. Some of the cotton versions look a little more appealing now looking back. Lane also seems comfortable and content in this, but prefers facing outwards to take in the surroundings. I had to watch a few YouTube videos on how to use it and adjust it for different positions, but once you get it, it’s easy peasy!
If you saw my newborn must-haves then you know we were all about the swaddles. But there comes a time when baby starts to bust out of them and just won’t stand to have his hands glued to his sides. Enter the Love to Dream perfect transition swaddle. This unique design allows baby’s hands to be up by his head but still contained, and when ready to transition again, you can remove the sleeves so baby’s hands can be free. We still use this for naps and bedtime without the sleeves as another sleep association and he seems to like being snug in a sleep sack.

Lane is obsessed with this! When we first got it at around 4 months, he didn’t know what to do and wasn’t quite sure about it, but once he figured it out he LOVED it. Now we can’t peel him away and it’s his absolute favorite activity. He would literally jump for hours if we let him…. Don’t worry, we don’t! Haha
Organic Baby Bandana Drool Bibs
I already raved about these on Instagram. Lane is a drooler! Big time. We are talking buckets, not dribbles… so these are necessary if I want to even somewhat preserve his outfit for the day. They are organic and super-absorbant. These linked ones have the cutest monochrome designs too. They didn’t have these when I registered for them, but ours have pretty cute prints too!
